What is Bio-fogging?
Bio-fogging is a long-established and recognised method of disinfecting an entire surface area, including walls, ceilings, furnishings, carpets and floors. The bio-fogging disinfection process creates a mist to disperse a specialist disinfecting agent (with the use of a low velocity fogging machine) which eliminates all pathogens that cannot be reached by conventional cleaning.
Where can I apply bio-fogging?
This fast, safe and effective method of helping to prevent the spread of infection is particularly popular with large open plan offices, schools, nursing homes, clinics, supermarkets and other places where large numbers of people congregate. This have proven to be effective at reducing staff absenteeism from the work place, whilst allowing the employer to show their employees that they are caring for their health and well-being in the workplace.
How it works
The bio-fogging process creates a fine mist to disperse a specialist disinfecting agent which offers rapid, broad spectrum kill and persistence far longer than most disinfectants. It does this by bonding to the surface, creating safe and a long-lasting transparent shield over surfaces enabling it to continue fighting harmful germs long after you spray.
The mist poses no threat to occupants and the residue left behind is biodegradable.
